Public house · San Lázaro, Arequipa, Peru

Come as you are. Chelawasi, craft beer bar in Arequipa

Chelawasi is Arequipa's first public house: Peruvian craft beer from more than ten breweries on 36 taps, good food, good music and a table to stay a while. We are in San Lázaro, the city's oldest neighborhood, a short walk from the historic center.

What we always explain at the bar

Dark ≠ bitter.Light ≠ mild.

Color comes from the roasted malt; bitterness comes from the hops. Not sure what to order? Tell us if you want it smooth, bitter or something different, and we'll recommend one.
